Help

Clarify your setup before you buy.

Width, tyre airtightness and installation decide whether GLUY works cleanly. This page collects the questions that matter before the cart.

Orientation

Three things decide before purchase.

First width, then tyre limit, then installation. That order turns interest into a clean purchase.

Rim inner width is measured before purchase

Width

Clarify inner width first.

The core purchase decision is rim inner width plus 2 mm. Without the right width, every installation gets uncertain.

Tyre sidewall is checked separately for airtightness

Tyre

Separate rim and tyre.

GLUY seals the rim mechanically. The tyre casing must hold air separately for a sealant-free setup.

Rim tape is pressed during installation

Install

Ask before bonding.

If width, valve zone or tyre behavior is unclear, support before installation is better than correcting it afterwards.

Help

Help for purchase and installation.

Short, concrete and without fog. If your setup is a special case, ask before guessing width or tyre airtightness.

Which GLUY width do I need?+

Measure the inner width of your rim between the rim hooks. The GLUY rule is: inner width + 2 mm. A 23 mm rim becomes the 25 mm GLUY width.

Do I really ride without sealant?+

GLUY seals the rim mechanically. Fully sealant-free only works if your tyre and casing are airtight as well.

Why is GLUY a set?+

Valve zone, tape end and compression are solved together. That is why tape, alu pads, end patches and press tool belong together.

Next step

Not sure? Check width first.

Size guide

Measure inner width. Choose the variant cleanly.

If your rim model does not add up cleanly, the manufacturer inner-width spec is better truth than a feeling.
